Saturday, Dec. 7 City of Heflin Christmas Parade of Lights 2002. Dec. 7 at 6:00 p.m. Prizes will be awarded prior to parade (Judges are from out of town). Each entry should use lights and Christmas decorations where possible. The parade route travels from the City Park, up Coleman Street to Ross Street, through town and down Evans Street back to the City Park. Entries should meet at the Heflin City Park on Evans Street, signs will be displayed as to where each category will park. NO SANTA SUITS PLEASE! To enter pick up a form from the Heflin City Hall. This Christmas season the Arts and Crafts League of Heflin will host Christmas Open House and Crafts Bazaar on Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Everyone is welcome. The Second Annual Miss and Mr. Christmas Pageant sponsored by the Ladies Group from East Heflin Baptist Church, will be held at Heflin Civic Center on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m. Ages will be 0-25. Sunday, Dec. 8 The Cleburne County Courthouse will host Christmas Open House on Dec. 8 from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14 The Pilot Club of Heflin will host the 3rd Annual Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. on Dec. 14 at the Cleburne County Elementary School auditorium. Admission is $5 for everyone. All the children will have an opportunity to visit with Santa Clause and be photographed with him. The Pilot Club will once again play Reindeer Games, and everyone may eat breakfast. For tickets or information contact Memory Makers at 463-5050.
