Regional Extension Agent, Sharon Haynes, Human Nutrition/Diet, recently held a 3-day class at the Beulah Baptist Church. Participants were: Carol Brown, Martha Brown, Sandra Brown, Audrea Burgess, Pamela Campbell, Shirley Dowdy, Hattie Gentry, Kim Grubb, Bonnie Laminack, Joan Price and Betty Smith. The first class was held in February in Heflin where Ms. Haynes demonstrated how to cut calories, fat and sugar from your diet.. Currently a free class, each participant receives valuable information, has a hands-on approach to learning and will receive cookbooks prepared just for their class.
