It was a very good Mother's Day today. In appreciation for all that mothers do, the men cooked a Mother's Day breakfast for the women, and all the mothers in the church received a rose.

Please continue to pray for our pastor Charles Benefield as his health continues to improve. We look forward to seeing him back at church soon.

Brother Marty Hulsey brought the message today. He spoke about honoring God from our heart. We can say we honor God by dressing in our best and looking really good on the outside, but it isn't really honoring God if we don't do it inwardly. God sees our heart, and knows if we are honoring Him with our actions and words and appearance. Give God the honor and glory He deserves, and do it from the heart.

Our youth group will have a car wash on Saturday, May 22, beginning at 9:00 at Value Foods in Ranburne.

Homecoming will be June 6. We will have a fellowship lunch after the morning service, and music will be provided by the Masters Quartet. Everyone is invited.

Please keep in prayer: Alex Cash, Jo Simmons, Floy Henry, Junior and Venna Brown, all the men and women in our military, the sick and shut-in, and our church and its members.
