The Rev. Randy and Delinda Morris recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a reception held at the Heflin Recreation Center on December 11, 2009.

The event was hosted by their children and their spouses: Kelly (Jessica) Morris of Heflin, and Kendra (Jonathan) Echols of Waco, TX.

The couple also have three beautiful granddaughters, Abby and Hattie Grace Morris of Heflin and Hallie Shea Echols of Waco, TX.

The couple enjoyed visiting and reminiscing with a host of friends and family who turned out for the celebration.

Music was provided by PasTime.

Five of the couple's orginial bridal party were also able to attend which brought back many memories. Those attendants were Carolyn (Green) and Glenn Price, Peggy (McElroy) Dewberry, Lanelle (Striplin) Cova and Amanda (Morris) Turner.

The couple were married December 20, 1969 at Hepsabah Baptist Church by the Rev. L.D. Dempsey.
