Dear Friends

I am making another plea to my readers. Please help me update my lists by contacting me if situations have changed. Lives change. People marry, divorce, pass on, get sick and (Thank God) get better from an illness. Just let me know at rkpsop816@yahoo.com or PO Box 924, Heflin.

Sunshine List

Hugh Bennett and Betty Gaither have improved to the point that they would like to be removed from our Sunshine List. That is such good news to me! Prayer does work in wonderful ways! Please continue to use that power with these friends: Betty Owen Bradley, Grace Stephens, Jenny Davis, Sonya Tyree, Brenda Jarrell, Jake Terry, Shelia Hunt, Rose Glover, Walter Hall, Kay Moore, Andrea Smith, Robin Dancy, Kayla Darby, Linda Harris, Glenn Shortt, Ashley Willis, Walter Ader, Bonnie Lackey, Sue Hayward, Clarence Thompson, Beulah Glasgow, Andrew Glasgow, Wilmer Glasgow, Josh Morris and Iris Kent.

Friends From The Past

The CCHS class of 1985 had a wonderful reunion last Friday at the Homecoming game. Jerry White (CCHS class of 1964) is wanting to once again reunite all 1960's athletes and cheerleaders (along with their "dates") at this week's CCHS vs. Saks football game. If you are interested and need more details call Roger Hiett 463-5286.

Someone's In The Kitchen

If you are interested in learning to do some "fancy cooking", be sure to sign up for the classes offered by the Heflin Art's Council. Executive Chef, Scott Laird will be teaching the classes. Italian cooking will be taught on October 22 and French cooking On October 29. All classes are limited to 20 participants and the cost is $30.00 per person. Classes will be held at the Art Center. Call City Hall (463-2290) to make reservations.

Bye! Until Next week ... remember ... You are only going to be remembered for TWO things, the problems you solved or the ones you created.
