Sounds like a weekend full of Magic Memories to me!

You Can Help

I am a part of a committee that is working hard to make the Heflin Homecoming (May of 2010) an event to remember. Our group is in charge of visual displays as well as a dramatic presentation. We need your help! We are trying to collect pictures of events that took place in Heflin in the past and right on up to the current time. These events could be positive as well as some that had a negative impact on our city. We will not KEEP or HARM your photos. They will be scanned and returned to the owners ASAP. The selected pictures will become a part of a collection and a special visual treat. The subject of photos could range from school, church, community and social events ... anything that captures the climate of the moment. If you have a photo that we could use, please call Cindy at 463-2290.

Scrumptious

Don't forget about the Gourmet Cooking School presented by the Heflin Art's Council.

The first class will be on Italian cooking (October 22) and the second will be on French cooking (October 29). Classes will be presented by Chef Scott Laird and will cost $30 a person. Reservations are needed. Call 463-2164 or 463-2290.

Bye! Until Next week ... remember ... The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, or ethnic background ... that is the fact that we all believe in our hearts that we are better drivers than all the other people on the highway.
