Anniston’s City Council and mayor were elected on a mandate for change. For the past several months, our residents have been in the process of defining their vision for Anniston in effecting the desired change through the strategic planning process.

The steering committee of 30 volunteers has been working diligently to identify actions to achieve the vision in topic areas of arts and culture, city image, community services, education, place, prosperity, safety and transportation.

Join us from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Feb. 27 at the Anniston City Meeting Center to hear a summary about the work done so far, to review the action agenda. We need your comments and suggestions. We hope to see you there. Learn more at www.oneanniston.org.

Mayor Vaughn Stewart
Council Members Jay Jenkins, David Reddick, Seyram Selase, Millie Harris
