Prep basketball: Spring Garden girls set to play tonight; Friday's sub-regional game times set

Despite the recent winter weather, Spring Garden High's girls basketball team is set to play its sub-regional game at home tonight.

Spring Garden girls coach Ricky Austin said his team will face Jefferson Christian at 7 p.m. in a Class 1A game.

Tipoff times were set today for other area sub-regional games, which will be played Friday.

Also in 1A, Faith Christian will travel to Skyline at 5 p.m.

At Anniston, the Bulldogs' girls will host Hokes Bluff at 4:30 p.m. in a 4A game, followed by the Anniston boys at home against Alexandria at 7 p.m.

In 2A, Woodland's girls are set to face LaFayette on Friday at 5:30 p.m.
