I am so angry. Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty did not ask for an interview with GQ magazine. He was invited. He was asked a question and responded.

Anyone who watches the Duck Dynasty shows knows that this family portrays itself as a Christian one. Every episode ends with saying “Grace” before a meal. Who is surprised in his responses to certain questions that he has personal beliefs?

Why is this country so worried about what one group or another does or does not believe? Our Constitution carries with it the freedom of speech. Last I heard or read, our government hasn’t curtailed this.

I agree that this country has a long history of discrimination against certain others. (It still does, such as immigration “reform.”) When did the caucasian, heterosexual male become the monster?

If you don’t like what’s on the radio, change the station. Don’t like what’s in a magazine article? Turn the page. Don’t like what’s on the television? Change the channel. We all have choices, preferences, beliefs, views and opinions. My opinions don’t end because they are different than yours, just as yours don’t end because they are different than mine. But this is just my opinion and belief.
