The Boy Scouts of America Venture Crew 4009 recently attended the annual benefit dinner for Rainbow Omega. The Crew was able to enjoy a fine dinner and evening learning the work that Rainbow Omega does for the community.

The keynote speaker for the event was Alabama Lt. Gov. Kay Ivey. She spoke about the Rainbow Organization, the work they do, and how they do it with the support of the community. The Venturers were able to spend time prior to the event meeting and talking with Lt. Gov. Ivey. The Crew members were invited to the dinner as guests of Honda Manufacturing of Alabama.

Attendees included Tyler Mitchell, Truett Leach, Dylan Clark, Elizabeth New, Gregory Heathcock and visitor Will Milner. BSA Crew 4009 is chartered and sponsored by St. Mark UMC in Golden Springs.
