Each of the departments have publicized surveillance footage of the suspect, and they ask anyone with information to contact local police.
At around 3:13 a.m. on Oct. 8 someone broke into the Dr. Phone Fix at 813 B Snow Street by throwing a rock through the glass door, according to Oxford police Lt. L.G. Owens.
“There was damage to the door and a display case,” Owens said.
An unknown amount of cell phones and phone accessories were taken, the police report notes.
At around 3:45 a.m. that day, someone broke into the Boost Mobile store located at 1225 Snow Street, Owens said.
Investigators believe a rock was again used to break through the glass door of the business, Owens said. The business owner had not done an inventory when the police report was completed, but told police that some merchandise appears to have been stolen, according to the report.
Attempts today to reach investigators with Anniston police were unsuccessful, but a post on the department’s Facebook page states police believe the same suspect burglarized business in Anniston during the early morning hours of Oct. 8.
Images taken from a surveillance camera shows a black man with a mustache wearing a baseball cap and a dark shirt.
