Pictured at Point Park atop Lookout Mountain overlooking Moccasin Bend of the Tennessee River and Downtown Chattanooga are scouts and crew members, left to right, Elizabeth New, Jamal Russell, Daniel Bietel, SPL Gregory Heathcock, Will Milner, Daniel Yim, Caleb LaFollette, Ridge Seales, Ben Schmitt, Avery Smith, Brijesh Kumar, Jamie Jenkins, Gregory Jones, Tyler Mitchell, Morgan Easterwood, Kailee Peterson, Hunter Davis, Lee Dillard and Da'Wohn Stapleton. Both Troop 9 and Crew 9 are sponsored and charted by St Mark UMC in Golden Springs.

Boy Scouts of America Troop 4009 and Crew 4009 hiked the same paths and heights that United States and Confederate soldiers climbed over 150 years ago. The scouts and crew members learned about history, geography and how Americans lived in the Chattanooga area during the Civil War.
