The Southeastern Conference released its 2014 conference schedule Wednesday, which includes eight league games for all 14 teams.

The schedules includes the 6-1-1 format, with six games against all division opponents, one permanent opponent from the other division, and one rotating opponent from the opposite division.

Alabama's rotating SEC East opponent will be the Florida Gators. The Gators travel to Tuscaloosa Sept. 20. This will be the first regular season matchup between the Tide and Gators since 2011.

Auburn's rotating SEC East opponent will be South Carolina, which the Tigers will host Oct. 25. The Tigers beat Steve Spurrier's team twice on its way to the 2010 national championship.

One notable league game is Texas A&M at South Carolina on Aug. 28. This will be the first game on the new SEC Network, which will debut Aug. 21.

The scheduling process is being reviewed by the SEC, and changes could be made by 2016, according to commissioner Mike Slive.

"The SEC Presidents and Chancellors have committed to a review of football scheduling to be completed in time for preparation of the 2016 schedule," Slive said in the release. "The objective of this review is to develop a scheduling format for the 2016 season and beyond, which will be in the best interests of the conference."
