Anthony Miller, 34, of Anniston, was charged with making a terrorist threat, a felony.
Anniston police Sgt. Chris Sparks said Miller left two messages with the dentist’s office, on the 300 block of East 10th Street, threatening to harm an employee. Sparks said the first message was left July 23 and the second on Monday.
Sparks said employees at the dentist’s office were able to identify Miller as the suspect from the calls. Sparks said Miller was not an employee or patient of the dental office. Police today were still investigating the motive behind the threats, Sparks said.
Miller was arrested at his home in Golden Springs around 11 a.m. today, according to the sergeant.
Miller was in the Anniston City Jail this afternoon. Bond and a court date had yet to be set.
