Brother Darryl Robinson brought the message from Colossians, chapter 2. As Christians, we are to put Jesus as the center of our lives. When people live a Christ-centered life, they are happy. They know their path will be narrow because Jesus said the way to the Kingdom of God is narrow. They don’t believe the ungodly teachings of the world, and have discernment from the Holy Spirit as to what is of God and what is not. They stand on God’s Word and allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide them.

Their prayers are effective; people will not hesitate to ask them to pray. Problems of this life are viewed differently – not as something that tears us down, but something that God will guide us through and help lift us up. Christians with Christ-centered lives progress every day – they never stop learning. They have a clear purpose - to be more like Jesus every day. Is Jesus the center of your life? If not, it’s not too late to come to Him.

Some of our youth group spent the evening at the AMP in Carrollton, GA, for a special evening of praise, worship, and a word from God. They all enjoyed the experience. Pray for our youth that they continue to follow Jesus.

Please pray for: Robert and Gladys Baughn, Jo Simmons, Sherry Brown, David Derusha, our church, its members, and anyone God wants you to pray for. We invite you to visit with us at Verdon Chapel.
