When our Founding Fathers first established our country, they did not just establish a democracy, but also a republic — it is supposed to work this way.

The people democratically elect the leaders representing them in the republic, but as the inequality has risen between the 1 percent and the 99 percent, the elected or republic no longer represent the people. They represent the corporations.

To be truthful, I don’t know if third-party candidates would represent the voters or not, but I do know that neither major party is representing us. Agreed?

“Each man must for himself alone decide what is right and what is wrong, which course is patriotic and which isn’t.” — Mark Twain. I say illegal wars are wrong; I say tax inequality is wrong, and I say elected officials not representing the American citizen is wrong. What do you believe?
