One person was injured in a house fire on Constantine Avenue on Sunday night, according to Anniston firefighters.

Assistant Fire Chief David Randle said firefighters were called to a single-story home at 601 Constantine Ave. at 8:27 p.m.

Randle said five Anniston fire trucks were at the home for two hours fighting the blaze. One person was taken from the home to Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Randle said the fire was still under investigation Monday afternoon. He had no other details, including the extent of damage to the home, to release on Monday.
