We thank everyone who helped in any way make our show a success, with a very special thank you to Mayor Roy Adamson for his continued support and assistance with our having to make some adjustments to our show.
We thank: the City Council for the use of the wonderful park; Carolyn Smith and members of the Park and Recreation Board for their support and help; Rusty Taylor and his crew for their help throughout the entire weekend; Police Chief Monty Giddens and the men and women of the Lineville Police Department for their great job in handling the large volume of traffic in a professional and courteous manner, which was no easy task; Sheriff Ray Latham and his staff for their assistance in parking show cars and handling minor problems throughout the park; Clay County Rescue Squad for medical support; Clay County Health Department Inspector Dani Reams for checking our food vendors; Irvin Thompson and AGL for their donated time and equipment in collection of all the trash; and our fine sponsors who donated cash or items for prizes.
It would be impossible to host a show of this size without the help of so many. It’s a tribute to the Volunteer County.
If you missed it this year, mark your calendars for the first weekend in November next year. It will be our 26th anniversary, and we promise it will be a humdinger.
