A woman was reportedly raped by two men early Wednesday morning during a party, Anniston police said this morning.

The 21-year-old victim told police she went to a party on the 300 block of Elm Street just after midnight, Anniston police Capt. Allen George said. According to the captain, the woman was about to leave when a man she knew asked her to go with him into a bedroom. The man attempted to undress the victim, George said, but she refused his advances.

Another unknown man entered the room, the captain said, and the first suspect forced the victim to the ground and raped her.

George said the second suspect also sexually assaulted the woman.

The victim had not received medical treatment when she filed the police report, George said.

Police knew the name of one suspect this morning and were attempting to identify the other.

Any suspects could face charges of felony first-degree rape.
