I graduated from Cobb Avenue Senior High School in 1963. I left the next day. I remember the great teachers we had who took great pride in teaching. I remember the great friendships I established.
After being away for more than 40 years, I returned to Anniston. People who were senior citizens then were getting sicker by the moment, and the ones of us who are now senior citizens are following suit.
All this sickness I speak of is not hereditary. Money can’t heal but it can help the ones who are due money. This is a part of the Model City history that will never go away.
