It is disappointing that The Anniston Star has nothing better to write about than less fortunate folks down on their luck in life, such as those in foreclosures and bankruptcy.

What business is it of the public that folks are losing their homes or that they could not pay their bills and had to file bankruptcy? It is hard enough for these people to deal with the personal crisis in their life without it being posted in The Star for everyone to see.

People are so quick to judge, not knowing the reason why they could not pay their bills or the mortgage. Then they are considered deadbeats, but that may not be the case at all. It is not news to me. Your paper is full of this news every day. Give these folks a break. Let them deal with their crisis in private.

Think about it. If it were you, would you want it advertised so all of Calhoun County would know of your bad luck?
