America was still grieving over the horrific incident in the Newtown, Conn., school shooting when the recent bombings at the Boston Marathon killed three people and injured more than a hundred, some severe. The waves of violence don’t stop in this country. It’s like an infestation. It gives the sick feeling of a lack of safety.

With millions of dollars spent on security, we still have terrorists finding a way to kill innocent Americans. Muslim extremists like those two bothers from Russia were most likely radicalized by their countrymen. The brothers were well treated here, getting government welfare and scholarships, but used a pressure-cooker to bomb the Boston Marathon. I will never look at a pressure cooker the same way again, knowing what an evil mind did with it.

What causes people like those Russian brothers to come into this country and kill? It is known that radical Muslims don’t accept our religion and ways of life. But does that ignite the hate to kill?

We are still a vulnerable nation as long as we have terrorists and sickos trying to take over our freedom. But there is hope, for Americans are strong, and in the end the good will win over evil.
