Another Middle East war. Can we afford getting involved again? We should have learned a lesson from Iraq. With the United States slowly getting back on its feet, costly natural catastrophes like the fires in California, plus the dept-ceiling decision hearing coming up in October, it seems unreasonable to get into it with Syria.
As bad as the human crisis in Syria is, so are areas like in Nigeria, where thousands of people are tortured, killed and burned alive. Atrocities happen all over the world. Can the United States keep financing the military involvements? The Obama administration ought to focus on this country’s economics and stay out of the foreign ones.
“Money doesn’t grow on trees” should be on the White House’s logo. We also should dig for our own oil to get oil independent. We are punished with high gas prices every time a war is going on. Wake up, America.
