Anniston police Monday were investigating a bullet hole discovered in a vehicle’s window Friday.

Sgt. Chris Sparks said an employee of a business located on the 1500 block of Hillyer Robinson Parkway noticed a hole in the company vehicle’s passenger window and reported it to police.

Sparks said investigators documented a hole that matches one made by a bullet, but recovered no projectiles at the scene. A police report states the bullet caused $1,050 worth of damage to the vehicle.

Sparks said police received reports of multiple gunshots being fired between Feb. 23 and Feb. 24 and believe this incident could be related.

Sparks said no injuries were reported and other victims have not filed police reports.

Police are still investigating the incident and looking for suspects.
