The Veterans Day Ceremony honored all veterans according to Post Commander Lonnie Vaughn.
Around four WW II vets attended the event along with six Korean vets, around six from the Vietnam Conflict and two from Iraq or Afghanistan.
Grayson Oswalt sang the National Anthem followed by remarks from Heflin Mayor Anna Berry who read a proclamation recognizing Veterans Day.
Berry said she is a daughter, wife and mother of a veteran.
Commander Vaughn noted that few World War II veterans are still alive and he urged everyone to talk to/and record their memories to help in remembering their accomplishments.
Vaughn praised the efforts of all veterans and the sacrifices made for the American flag and for America.
The ceremony is an annual event of the Post.
