The Lamb Family Violin Ensemble recently appeared in Anniston for their final family concert, ending a 15-year performance schedule by the four siblings from Tuscaloosa. Their Christmas concert was in keeping with their motto, “Music with a Message,” revealing how God has worked through this family to minister to others and to glorify Himself. The Lamb Family Ensemble lifts spirits and encourages hearts through their music featuring stringed instruments and sibling camaraderie.

Now ranging in age from 25 to 18, Karis, Kimel, Kolson and Caleb comprise the “Three Lambs and a Ram,” who have performed several times in Anniston and received national and regional media coverage. They play a variety of music, including sacred, classical, pop and fiddle tunes. Two of the siblings have graduated from the University of Alabama while two are current students.

Their Christmas concert in included favorite Christmas music with a surprise for the children, when from the stage their mother DuRhonda phoned their father Bill who was in the hospital. The audience shouted in unison “Get Well Soon” to Bill while all the Lamb children wept as their father is their hero who provided music lessons and violins.

Another special treat included DuRhonda reading an email from a grandfather whose grandson Carson first heard the Lamb Family Violin Ensemble in Anniston when he was three years old, became enthralled with the violin, and began lessons when a violin teacher moved next door to him. Now seven, Carson was invited to stand and be recognized as he again enjoyed the Lamb Family in concert. The Lamb Family wished the audience hope, joy, love, peace and salvation, as well as encouragement to keep Christ in Christmas.
