Re “Ready for Hillary?” (H. Brandt Ayers column, April 14):

Mr. Ayers, with all due respect, restrain yourself. Your self-evident amorous column regarding Hillary Clinton is another side of you that I am certain no one was aware of.

To display such in print must be shocking to the majority of your reading public. Countless women have the qualities and attributes that you so eloquently wrote regarding Hillary. However, what they do not possess is the wealth of Hillary and Bill, along with the wealth of the left-wing sycophants who are more than willing to further their ambitions/agendas by donating money to Hillary’s campaign if she decides to run for president as you so ardently desire her to do so.

I do agree with you on one salient point, that is that Hillary should run, but not for political office. Instead, she should run for the hills, Hillary hand-in-hand with her ardent admirers. Let us hear and read no more of Bill and Hillary Clinton; they had their turn at bat and both struck out. Sit back and relax, Mr. Ayers, put partisan politics aside, listen to some music that soothes the savage beast. I highly recommend an old favorite that you may enjoy, it is titled “It’s the talk of the town.” Lyrics ap’ro-pos.
