Gregory Heathcock and Father Bryan Lowe are pictured standing on the bridge which is part of the new entrance to the church and school gymnasium. BSA Eagle Scout Gregory Heathcock picked the school gymnasium, which is located at the church as the location, for his Eagle Scout Project. He planned and built the entrance way for the gym along with help from parishioners, family members and other scouts. The 100-foot long entrance way is made up of an eight-foot wide sidewalk and the steel and timbered bridge. The bridge itself is eight-foot wide and twenty-five feet long. The bridge spans a creek that previously had blocked direct entrance to the gym. The entrance way is handicapped accessible and meets all codes and ordinances. Eagle Scout Gregory Heathcock earned his Eagle Rank in 2012, the 100th Anniversary of the BSA Eagle Rank. He is a member of BSA Troop 4009 of Anniston. Gregory Heathcock is the son of Ted and Elizabeth-Anne Heathcock of Anniston. Father Bryan Lowe is the pastor of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Anniston.
