Members of the Chemical Corps Regimental Association (CCRA), McClellan Chapter, Dec. 21, 22 and 24, provided gifts and words of thanks to 52 military veterans living in local assisted living and nursing homes. The chapter visited NHC Place, NHC Healthcare, Golden Living Center, Ladiga Manor and Piedmont Health Care Center. Supervisory personnel at each home hosted their respective presentations and provided assistance. Many of the veterans spoke emotionally of their service at places far away from Calhoun County.
