Lt. Fred Forsythe said a 33-year-old woman told police she was kidnapped by two men and two women, none of whom she knew, at 8 p.m. Saturday while walking to meet someone near the 500 block of West Blue Mountain Road. Forsythe said the victim was forced into a vehicle and driven to an unknown location in Alexandria.
The victim reported she was kicked and punched repeatedly by the suspects. When the car stopped, she was taken outside, where she was assaulted again and sexually tortured, Forsythe said.
Forsythe said that afterwards the woman was brought back to Blue Mountain Road around 10:30 p.m. and “dumped on the side of the road.”
Responding officers observed several injuries all over the woman’s body, consistent with the assault. Police didn’t know Monday whether the woman had sought medical treatment after filing a report.
Police today are following up on leads and “don’t believe this is a random act,” Forsythe said.
