P: Sydney Williams

Sr., 5-5, Oxford

Noteworthy: Williams picked up 14 wins as one of the Lady Yellow Jackets' main pitchers. She had a 3.32 ERA over 158 innings and recorded 90 strikeouts.

P: JoJo Skinner

8th, 5-4, Oxford

Noteworthy: Skinner didn't miss a beat as an eighth-grader for Oxford, picking up 13 wins. She had a 1.98 ERA through 103 innings and struck out 99 batters.

P: Taylor Ellison

Fr., 5-3, Alexandria

Noteworthy: Ellison pitched against tough competition, earning 11 wins for the Valley Cubs. The freshman struck out 63 batters through 41 innings and had a 2.21 ERA.

C: Jenn Turner

Jr., 5-2, Oxford

Noteworthy: Turner showed her skills beyond behind the plate, batting .405 for the Lady Yellow Jackets. The junior recorded 62 hits, including 14 doubles, and 42 RBIs.

1B: Chametris Young

Sr., 5-7, Jacksonville

Noteworthy: Young led the Golden Eagles at the plate with a .408 batting average. The senior hit five doubles and three home runs while picking up 17 RBIs.

2B: Madison Shanks

Jr., 5-11, Alexandria

Noteworthy: Shanks led the Valley Cubs at the plate, batting .331. The junior hit two home runs and drove in 30 RBIs.

SS: Lexie Higgins

Jr., 5-7, Oxford

Noteworthy: Higgins recorded 55 hits while hitting leadoff for Oxford, compiling a .374 average. The junior hit a team-leading 12 home runs and 14 doubles and had 28 RBIs.

3B: Tia Elston

Jr., 5-3, Anniston

Noteworthy: Elston hit .500 to lead Anniston at the plate. The junior hit a home run and stole 12 bases, while also recording 18 RBIs.

OF: Julie Newell

Sr., 5-2, Jacksonville

Noteworthy: Newell hit .382 for the Golden Eagles, with 20 singles and 14 extra-base hits, including four home runs. The senior recorded 22 RBIs.

OF: Kaylee Golden

Jr., 5-5, Alexandria

Noteworthy: Golden's fielding highlighted her game, with the junior fielding at 98 percent. At the plate, Golden hit .327 and had 21 RBIs and nine stolen bases.

OF: Stewart Gail Chase

Sr., 5-3, Oxford

Noteworthy: Chase led Oxford offensively, hitting a team-high .441 with 67 hits. The senior picked up 25 RBIs and stole 25 bases.

DH: Nekola Caver

Jr., 5-5, Anniston

Noteworthy: Caver played a large role for Anniston hitting .500 on the season. The junior added 12 RBIs and stole 11 bases.

UTIL: Amanda Young

Sr., 5-6, Alexandria

Noteworthy: Young was a machine behind the plate for Alexandria. The catcher finished the season with 97-percent fielding and threw out 85 percent of runners stealing.
