Services for Danny Payne, 55 of Heflin, Alabama were held February 6, at Blue Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Thomas Moates and Dr. Wayne Stevens officiating. Interment was at Pinetucky Cemetery, Dryden Funeral was in charge of the Services. Mr. Payne was born on January 17, 1953, in Heflin. He was a machine technician, a native and lifelong of Heflin. He was a member and deacon of Blue Springs Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Eunice Payne and a sister, Betty Roberts. Mr. Payne was a beloved Husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who touched many lives. Mr. Payne is survived by his wife, Bonnie of Heflin; daughter Angie (Johnny) Spears of Heflin; son Shane (Kimberly) Payne of Heflin; sisters Geri Lambert and Janice Brown both of Heflin; brothers Ralph Payne of Muscadine and Jimmy Wayne Payne of Heflin, and three grandchildren Colton, Cheyenne and Santana Payne. Pallbearers were Jack Gray, Alan Brown, Norman Cole, Jimmy Mitchell, Robby Brown and Bartley Owen.
