Anniston Star readers then voted on their choice for Photo of the Year. In just eight days, the contest drew more than 10,000 votes online, by phone and by mail. The Readers' Choice winner, pictured at left, is the "Praying Child" by Stephen Gross, which captured 53 percent of your votes.
