Establish scholarship fund

The Loyd P. Owens family has set up a scholarship fund at the Auburn University College of Agriculture. A scholarship shall be awarded each year to an Auburn University student or incoming student who has a minimum GPA of 2.5 and is pursuing a degree in horticulture. Preference will be given to students from Clay and Cleburne counties majoring in ornamental horticulture. Anyone wishing to make a donation toward this scholarship fund can make their check payable to Auburn University Foundation for the Loyd Owens Scholarship. Send checks to Auburn University College of Agriculture, 107 Comer Hall, Auburn, AL 36849.
