Scholarship winners announced

Ranburne High School student Stephanie Gilliam is among 15 prestigious Smith Scholarship winners for 2008. Ahrian Davis Tyler, Director of the J. Craig and Page T. Smith Scholarship Foundation (the largest endowment ever made for Alabama High School Seniors who attend public schools), according to Superintendent Joseph Morton, announces winners of the all expense paid scholarship for Alabama students to go to four year Alabama colleges The awards were made on “First In Family” C or above grade average and commitment to family or community service criteria.
